About Recon

Recon is the TFTool project's official mascot! She was designed by an anonymous member of the TFTool Steam group. Her character concept was that of a fourth Support class who helps keep on top of the map and objectives. Her class name is a reference to the Source RCON protocol.

• She is slightly older than Scout, but looks young due to being a shut-in.
• Before working at Mann Co, she was originally a photojournalist.
• Her class emblem is meant to resemble both a magnifying glass and the lens of a camera.
• She is inspired by the scrapped Commander class from TF2's development.
